1. Catherine’s House:

Catherine’s house is where the owner of the equestrian center, Catherine Candlehaven, lives. The house was built in the 1800’s when the land was first settled to be a cattle ranch.

2. The Main Barn:

The main barn is a 12 stall barn with large 12 x 12 stalls. Each stall features a door opening into the barn isle and a back dutch door that can be accessed from outside the barn.

3. The Shedrow Barn:

The shedrow barn features 8 10 x 10 stalls that open up into the barnyard. These stalls are nice and breezy during the summer but offer plenty of protection from the elements in the winter.

4. The Barnyard:

The barnyard is a grassy fenced area that is just a catch all during the busy days on the farm. It can often be found scattered with chickens, a horse that is inbetween a ride and getting groomed, or being used to host a vet or farrier appointment.

5. Holding Pen:

Similar to the barnyard, the holding pen is a versatile area used to hold horses that will be worked with momentarily, but also serves as a great small turnout for an injured horse that needs to be confined to a small space.

6. Mare & Foal Turnout:

This pasture positioned very close to both barns is a large grassy area where a mare and foal can be turned out safely where they will be constantly monitored and can easily be put back in the barn.

7. Quarantine Barn:

The quarantine barn is where a sick or new horse will be stabled until medically cleared to be near the other horses at Haven. This barn is also used as a tack room.

8. Guest Cabins:

The guest cabins are two small one bedroom cabins that guests can stay the night in if need be. They feature a small kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom within them. These buildings were originally where the ranch hands would live on site and feature the original hitching posts from the barns initial construction.

9. Riding arena:

The riding arena, which was recently reconstructed in a rectangular shape, features professional grade sand footing and low fenced borders. This space is used for everything from schooling young horses to practicing jumping courses.

10. Round Pen:

The round pen is a 60 foot round pen that is used for a number of things. Desensitization, first rides, gentling, etc.

11. Individual Turnout:

These small four paddocks are great for horses that need to stay by themselves due to behavioral issues, studs, or horses that also cannot strain themselves too much.

12. South Turnout:

The south turnout, which is 20 acres of wide open grass featuring rolling hills and tall oak tree shade, is used primarily for geldings and well adjusted stud horses.

13. North Turnout:

The north turnout, which is 30 acres of mixed terrain such as flat land, hills and forest, is used solely for the mares of the barn.

14. The Trails:

The private trails that can be accessed behind Catherine’s house are vast. They climb up the mountains of Jor, and feature both easy paths and more difficult climbs.

15. Parking Lot:

The parking lot is where Catherine stores her trailer, and riders can park their vehicles.
